Day 6 - Three's Company

Adding two more plants to our little garden today.
  • Pepper Poblano
  • Pepper Habanero
Yes its pepper fever! The Poblano is actually a set of three plants, not sure if the pot we have is big enough for the three of them. Will check out some more pots and replace this one.

We don't really use too many Pepper Poblano's in our cooking (capsicum as we call it in India). If we get a good crop we'll add more of this to our diet.

Pepper Habanero - I know about this from a nice lady at work who makes super spicy salsa with Habaneros that leaves everyone gasping for air and water due to its intense heat. We are going to try to grow this and maybe replace green chillies, that'll be $0.05 saved from our Indian store grocery bill, go garden savings!

$4      - Pepper Poblano

$2      - Small pot
